This webinar aims at discussing the peculiarities of teaching adult learners of English comparing and contrasting pedagogical and andragogical approaches to ELT. It is common to find books on the pedagogy, techniques and methodologies for teaching young learners and teens but not that common to read and discuss the peculiarities of teaching adults. Similarities, differences and the reasons for paying special attention to this age group are the scope of this training session.


Mr Bruno Albuquerque

Bruno Albuquerque has a degree in Letras English/Portuguese and is a CELTA holder. He’s been working as an ELT professional since 2012 and has acted as a teacher in language institutes teaching students of all age groups and proficiency levels and as a teacher trainer and presenter at national conferences in Brazil. Bruno is an academic consultant at Troika writing materials and training teachers. He is currently studying for DELTA – Module 1.
