Starting in January 2026, the TOEFL iBT® test will introduce a series of enhancements designed to improve the test-taking experience and better reflect the skills students need for academic success. In this webinar, we will explore the upcoming changes in detail and discuss how English teachers can best prepare their students for the updated format.

Participants will gain insights into the new test structure, updated question types, and streamlined timing. We will also introduce a range of free and official preparation tools developed by ETS to support both teachers and students, including classroom resources, practice materials, and professional development opportunities.

Thassiana Balbino

Thassiana Balbino is the Business Development Manager for the TOEFL iBT® test in Brazil at ETS – Educational Testing Service. She brings over 15 years of experience in the English Language Teaching and Assessment field, having worked in educational consultancy across sectors such as Higher Education, K–12, Language Schools, NGOs, and Corporate Training.

She holds a degree in English Teaching and an MBA in School Management from the University of São Paulo, the CELTA from the University of Cambridge, and a certificate in Business Administration from the London School of Economics.

Thassiana is passionate about teamwork, co-creating educational solutions, and exploring innovative technologies to enhance learning experiences.
