Plan wydarzenia

The changes in Teacher Development in the past years have helped us recognize the importance of the professionalization in ELT through teacher education. Hence the increase in demand for courses and certificates aimed at teachers. However, the Brazilian teacher’s language awareness is still frowned upon. In this webinar, I will invite participants to honestly assess their current level of language awareness, and propose practical solutions to fight the fossilization of the teacher’s language.

Carina Galo

Carina has been in ELT for over 31 years, having worked at major language institutes as a general English and exam preparation teacher, speaking and writing examiner, teacher educator, and CELTA trainer. She holds the Cambridge DELTA, with a merit on her specialism on Language Development for Teachers, Train-the-Trainer, ICELT and C2. Her interests include teacher development, exam preparation, affective learning, and teaching 1-2-1, among others.
